This afternoon, I got the email I had been waiting for...Our changing table for the girls room is in! Now all we have to do is pick it up and put it together. Other then that the girls room is done! Woohoo! We still need to do some organizing to do. Like finding a place for all of our diapers we have collected over the past few months.
You know what is crazy, we might have what seems like tons of diapers...but I added them up the other day, and we have enough newborn diapers to last the FIRST MONTH. And probably not much more then that. I did buy another box today on my way home from work so that brings our total up to maybe 650 or so. Oh man, any one have any idea how to get more diapers for crazy cheap? I thing we need as many ideas as possible :O)
Even though we are going to need tons of diapers and lots of diaper changes, I am very excited for these little girls to get here.

have you thought about cloth diapers? I clearly dont know much about them myself but I have heard in the long run they save a ton of money, and I can only imagine with twins, that every little bit helps.
I tried cloth when J was a baby. Lasted less then a week.
It all depends what kind of babies the girls are, not all newborns poop that much - some poop before and after a feed and anytime in between - some much less. Especially if you do any formula it will be less. Noah was a big pooper, Nate not so much right from the get go - and both were exclusively breastfed - so I wouldn't stress about it. We averaged one costco box of diapers per baby per month. You should be the same - so just 2 boxes. might be a bit more the first 6 weeks but it's really not that bad!!!!
