All I have to say is THIS SUCKS! I haven't slept a full night in at least 3 days. Yesterday was one of the longest days at work I have worked through. So tonight I had an early dinner and was in bed by 9pm. Awake at 1am to go pee and then asleep right away.
Until...2am. I thought the leg cramps I have had earlier were bad. They were NOTHING compared to this. It was horrible and wouldn't go away. And now, now I can't sleep. Each time I start to fall asleep it feels like my leg is going to cramp again and it wakes me up. I can't even put any pressure on my leg to walk. It hurts way to much. Walking to the bathroom is excruciating.
Needless to say, at 5:06 am on Tuesday morning (now 26 weeks) I am awake watching Happy Feet, eating toast and drinking milk. I really hope I will be able to sleep a little bit or today is going to be extremely long. I bet there will be a few breakdowns and lots of tears in my near future.

I agree - it totally sucks! The leg cramps, backaches, heartburn, general uncomfortableness, etc - blah! I asked my OB at one point who these women are that say they enjoy being pregnant because I think they're full of crap! It is all-consuming and you never have a break to just feel normal for an hour or so. The only consolation is that it really is good practice for the sleep deprivation you'll have during the first few weeks after you give birth. Somehow we get through it though and these little people create so much joy in our lives! Take care....
