Every day the girls are more and more active. This morning actually, both of the girls were moving. They must have been kicking on opposite sides because my belly was moving all over the place. It was rather interesting to watch. The girls moving is still one of the strangest feelings I have ever felt. Strange and amazing all at the same time. I love it...until Baby "B" starts kicking my lower right rib. That is something she likes to do these days. There they go again :O) Watching my belly move, finding a hard spot where one of the girls is, or just feeling them move is something I could do all day. Just that and nothing else. I find myself spacing out at work doing exactly that.
The girls and I have reached 20 pounds in weight gain! I wasn't sure we were going to get to this point. Well, I knew we would just didn't seem like it. Especially with me not gaining weight really at all. My doctor is going to be very pleased when we go in for our next appointment on the 14th of September. I can't wait to see them again :0)
This Friday was the season opener for the Burlington Eddison Tigers football. We got all dressed up in our yellow and blue and went to the game. Although I am not sure how many of the football games I am going to be able to go to. Sitting on bleachers being 6 months pregnant is not the most enjoyable thing in the world that's for sure.
Needless to say the girls got their first of many experiences of Burlington sports Friday. There is going to be no shortage of sporting events in our near future, especially with Jake being the Head Coach for the boys basketball team. I know he can't wait for the girls to be big enough to want to go to practice and help dad. Speaking of...I need to order their first B-E shirts for their first game.
24 weeks, who would have known, after trying so long that we would be 24 weeks pregnant? That fact still astonishes me. I am sure when these two little girls are born it will still amazing me that we were able to get pregnant. Sometimes it seems unreal...and then one or both of them kicks as if to remind me they are real. My little miracles :O)
Well, here is to another week closer to our little girls!
